The total balance of the skin is difficult because there is
always a slight tendency to fat, lack of moisture and dryness, a mixture of fat
and dry, or just a skin of extreme sensitivity. A skin that is thin, smooth,
soft, elastic, and not suffering from disorders of fat or moisture, or present
alterations in their acidity, we can say that is a healthy skin.
In a healthy complexion its hydration is balanced, and the
aqueous perfect balance is achieved when the tiny skin cells retain the
liquid-water right. If instead the deep layers not secrete enough fluid to
maintain the elasticity of the skin, the skin takes on a gray and rough, prone
to staining, granite or alterations in sebum.
On the fat must also be balanced. The fat-producing
sebaceous glands form a film on the surface of the skin that slows the
environmental external stresses. If the glands produce little tallow or fat,
the skin dries out, while yes produces in excess was "choking" filled
with blackheads and pimples.
In healthy skin, called the pH factor acts on it in a way
that maintains its chemical balance needed. The ideal is that the skin is
always slightly acidic, and is thus microbes and floating microorganisms in the
environment do not penetrate. So a correct acidity defends the body against
skin infections.
